Major Mitchell’s Cockatoo

Major Mitchell’s cockatoo (Lophochroa leadbeateri), also known as Leadbeater’s cockatoo or the pink cockatoo, is a medium-sized cockatoo. The body feathers are white, and there are beautiful crest feathers with red and yellow and distinct colors on the head. Inhabits the arid and semi-arid outback regions of Australia. The main foods are grasses, seeds of cereals and fruits, pine cones, figs, insect larvae, fruits, drupes, etc.
